phoenix hazel in Morvern

This old hazel tree is growing on a wet & steep slope, and at some stage has fallen over. However this was not enough to kill it, and new shoots have grown up to reinvigorate the tree. I came across it while preparing for an event on managing woodlands for plants that we are helping to organise on the 8th of March.
