Scottish Native Woods on the television


BBC Scotland's Landward programme at 7.00 this evening carries a piece on exotics, with coverage of some of the work that John Parrott's been doing in North Highland on sites like Urquhart Bay. The knotweed in this picture that was encroaching upon a path through the wood is being cleared away. This lets light in for other plants to grow, and opens up sightlines for walkers in the wood.
